Enable Dictation on macOS
Turn on Dictation and set a global hold-to-dictate hotkey with Voice Type.
← Back to Learn



Open System Settings.

Go to Keyboard → Dictation.

Switch Dictation to On.

Open Voice Type → set your hotkey → hold to speak, release to finalise.
